Mean Green Central Grill

Being a college student without a car delivery food is a knight in shining armor. But after a while delivery pizza just doesn’t do it anymore.

So since I was very tired of delivery  pizza I decided to give the Mean Green Central Grill’s delivery food a chance.

The first meal that I ordered, naturally, was a bacon cheese burger basket. My meal was delivered very quickly and it was hot a clearly fresh.

When ordering online there are three options for buns: Sourdough, Jalapeño Cheddar, and Gluten free.  Sourdough is my absolute favorite bun on a burger so I had to choose it.

This burger was pretty good overall. The bacon was described as extra thick cut but my strips were thin, the slices of onion were thicker than the bacon. The thin bacon and the thick onions are about my only complaint about the burger other than that the burger was decent. And the fries were excellent.
Since the burger wasn’t half bad, I ordered the other food item on the restaurant’s logo: wings.

I ordered my favorite seasoning, the Grill offers many others, lemon pepper.

Well the food was hot and the French fries were bomb, but that’s about all the nice things I have to say. I was very disappointed in the wings. If the seasoning  wasn’t so visible, I wouldn’t have known that these were lemon pepper.

My wings tasted similar to plain roasted chicken, not completely unpalatable but not the lemon pepper flavor I was looking for. I couldn’t even bring myself to finish the wings, which is a first for me. Maybe the boneless wings would’ve been better.

Until the Next Meal,
