Hannah’s off the Square is one of the more upscale restaurants in Denton. And brunch is one of the things that Hannah’s does best.
Sundays are a fantastic day to visit Hannah’s because of the exclusive Sunday menu. To start off my Sunday brunch, of course, I had to have a mimosa.
A blood orange mimosa was an upgrade from regular orange juice and champagne mimosas. The blood orange mimosa was the perfect blend of sweetness and bitterness.
When going to Hannah’s on a Sunday the Brunch Burger, which is only served on Sundays, is naturally one of the best choices. I was not wrong in thinking this.
This burger is one of the better burgers I have had in Denton. The burger is made out of ground brisket which is topped with white cheddar cheese, a tomato, pan fried egg, bacon and Bearnaise sauce.
The burger is served with kettle chips, but I substituted them for fries. Because a burger and chips just aren’t the same as burgers and fries.
The burger was cooked slightly over the medium, but that did not take away from the burger at all. It was full of juice and flavor. As someone who normally doesn’t like eggs or tomatoes on their burger, I was skeptical about those two toppings. But I am glad I decided to go with it, the combination of toppings was a harmonizing melody in my mouth.
